The word “Hyssop” appears frequently in the Bible as a symbol of cleansing, healing, and spiritual purification. In Exodus, hyssop branches were used to apply the blood of the lamb during Passover. In Psalm 51:7, King David cries out, “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean.” At the crucifixion, hyssop was used to lift the sponge to Jesus’ lips. Hyssop Hospitals is rooted in this redemptive theme of healing and spiritual renewal, offering Christ-centered medical care that cleanses both body and soul.
